It is with delight that I unequivocally recommend Slade Crooks to anyone looking to buy or sell real estate. In 2004, after becoming frustrated with a realtor she was using while looking for a house in Portland's Mt. Tabor area, my medical student granddaughter found Slade through the internet. Upon contact with Slade, she was comfortable with his expertise and friendly, but professional demeanor. As I live out of state, Slade and I soon exchanged several telephone calls and e-mails regarding potential properties.

Within a short time a lovely home was found that perfectly fit my granddaughter's criteria. I then flew to Portland and met Slade in person for the first time. He spent several long days showing me comparable properties so I could be assured regarding the designated house. He was excellent in negotiating the sale and completing the 1031 Exchange closing. As neither my granddaughter or I were able to be at the closing, we placed our trust in Slade. In our absence, Slade personally inspected the property and made certain there were no problems; everything went smoothly and we were completely satisfied.

I completely lucked out in finding Slade! My first experience prior to Slade was unremarkable and didn't leave me feeling excited about future real estate transactions. Slade found us a house that had been on the market for only a few hours. It was a Monday afternoon, and he got us there before anyone else had seen it (he was driving). We had seen around 11 or 12 houses already in two days of riding around with Slade, but this place was definitely the one. We liked it so much that we made an offer right away. I'm sure that without Slade's help, we would have been too late to get this great place.
